I booked a hotel for a few days before I left for Fiji, and upon arrival was picked up by shuttle and taken there. Unsure if I’d made the right choice, I soon realized it would be easy enough to change. All the tourist accommodation near Nadi airport is on the same road. Most people head on cruises of the groups of islands extending off of Fiji’s west coast where to you can do typical island activities e.g. diving, snorkeling, partying, hiking, or relaxing.
