Hey James,

That was excellent writing – an informative and entertaining read as always. Really got a feel for the people, felt the rumble of the stones beneath your boots and the air way over there… Gatorade! Now I want to watch idiocracy again.

I think I’ll be making the journey in reverse maybe in 2012. This is of course if the lizard men of 2012 have not enslaved us all. Maybe we will be enslaved – it could be a laugh to do a daring escape. Perhaps rob there smelly, peeling, reptilian spaceship and head of for new adventures in the Galaxies… Must upgrade my license…

Hi, Jamse. Thank you for your story. It is an example for foreign tourists how to get good rest on Olkhon without knowing language at all:-) and without help of agency. This summer i met only two such people: you and one 66-y.o. woman from Brazil, vizited us some days ago:-)
